'Freud’s Last Session' centres on legendary psychoanalyst Dr. Sigmund Freud who invites the young, rising Oxford Don C.S. Lewis to his home in London.

On the day England enters World War Two, Freud and Lewis clash about love, sex, the existence of God, and the meaning of life, just weeks before Freud took his own life.

"Have just gotten back from the opening night and thoroughly enjoyed myself. A funny, touching, and indeed thought provoking piece."

"Thoroughly enjoyed this entertaining and stimulating play. It's a superbly written, surprisingly funny piece.. The set is gorgeous and the whole production is very well done -- my friend who also saw it in NYC preferred this Hobart production. Really, don't miss it."

“Caught this show last night. A well-structured and contained script that served as a great showcase for the range and talent of Chris Hamley and Michael Edgar. The production was beautifully staged and utilized the Backspace really effectively.”

“Thank you Kath for your warm welcome last night to the 3 Sydney visitors. We really enjoyed the polished performance. Reading the bios of Chris and Michael revealed that we had stumbled upon a hidden gem and their interpretation of this play was fantastic. It provoked all sorts of post performance.. We wish Hamley Productions all the best for future success.”
